• Meet Skye, Topeka's only fire dog (ksnt.com) — Topeka's Fire Station 4 is home to Skye, the city's only working fire dog, honored for National Fire Pup Day. The six-and-a-half-year-old lab is specially trained to sniff out ignitable liquids, helping investigators pinpoint where to collect samples after a fire and speeding up arson investigations across Topeka.
