Imagine playing trivia with friends while having dinner and winning prizes!
The Shake Rag Bar &amp; Lounge holds a trivia night every Monday at 6:30 pm. It’s fun and free to play. There are drink specials including the Lounge’s signature $2 bottled beers. Bring your own dinner or have one delivered to make an evening of it.
Trivia is best played and more fun in teams, because each player contributes something to the knowledge pool: some know sports, some know popular songs, some history. And in addition to general knowledge trivia, this Monday night event will feature some questions specifically about Shake Rag culture and traditions. 
Come join us on Mondays at 315 State Street for fun and entertainment.

The White Squirrel Arts Fest returns this year on April 25 with a vibrant, free celebration of the arts, taking place in and around White Squirrel Brewery in the heart of the Historic Shake Rag District of Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

This family-friendly community fest brings together local artists and performers, featuring an arts fair with skilled visual artists, ceramicists, authors, makers, and designers, along with food vendors, live music throughout the day, a WKU student fashion show, and an evening poetry slam.
Fest-goers are invited to browse and shop local art, enjoy free performances throughout the day, and experience the colorful creative spirit of Bowling Green.

The White Squirrel Arts Fest Poetry Slam returns to Shake Rag Bar &amp; Lounge on April 25 for an evening of powerful performances, bold voices, and creative expression.
Both seasoned poets and first-time participants are invited to take the floor and share their work in a lively, supportive atmosphere for a chance to win prizes. The venue's interior is strictly 21+, but the slam is open to all adult performers via the breezeway and free for participants and viewers alike.

If you have never played bridge before, or even played cards, this session will cover the basics. Bridge is one of those wonderful games where you can keep getting better and better the longer you play. And it’s great for developing memory and thinking skills. It’s a great social game requiring at least four players, playing in partnerships. When you finish this particular session, you will understand the two parts of the game: the bidding and the playing. You will be able to do both properly, according to the rules. You will be able to engage in social bridge and play comfortably with any partner and any group. Fun for any age.
