• Two Arrested in Separate Incidents at Local Boat Ramp and Traffic Stop (marshallcountydaily.com) — Calvert City police recently handled two Marshall County arrests that local residents may notice in court and patrol reports. One involved an alleged theft from a vehicle at the Cirrito Lane boat ramp, while another followed a traffic stop where the driver was charged with operating on a suspended license; all individuals remain presumed innocent. 
• June Thompson Parker, 75 (marshallcountydaily.com) — Family and friends in Calvert City are mourning June Thompson Parker, 75, whose daughter lives here and who passed away Monday in Paducah. A graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at Benton Cemetery, with Collier Funeral Home handling arrangements and memorial gifts suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
