• RFP's Open For EV Charging Stations In West Kentucky (wkdzradio.com) — Drivers in and around Central City now have a new fast-charging EV station at Casey’s on South Second Street near Exit 58, featuring four high-speed ports. The project, backed by over $830,000 in federal NEVI funding, comes as Kentucky opens RFPs for more charging locations across western and statewide routes. 
• Lisa Lorene Laycock-Burch (ky-leadernews.com) — Central City readers are remembering Lisa Lorene Laycock-Burch, a 1984 Central City High School graduate who always considered the town her true home. The 60-year-old arts-and-crafts lover and music fan spent recent years at Kentucky Lake, where friends became like family. A celebration of life at the lake will be held later, and memorial donations can support her daughter via Farmer Bank.
