• Escaped Christian Co. inmates lead police on high-speed chase (kentuckynewera.com) — Two inmates who walked away from a work detail in Crofton are back in custody after an alleged carjacking at the Madisonville Street Family Dollar/Dollar Tree led to a multi-county high-speed chase. State police say the pursuit started near Crofton and continued along the Western Kentucky Parkway before officers disabled the vehicle and returned both men to detention facilities.
