• Barren County Judicial Center project clears $1.58 million payment as construction advances (wcluradio.com) — Work on Glasgow’s new Barren County Judicial Center is moving into key structural stages, with more than $1.58 million in new payments just approved. Crews are building exterior concrete walls and elevator shafts, adding air and vapor barriers, and preparing to relocate a crane so underground plumbing and the next construction phase can begin.
   

• Fiscal court approves option-to-lease agreement with Wabuck (wcluradio.com) — Barren County leaders have approved an option-to-lease deal that could turn the former Barren County Health Department property in Glasgow into much-needed senior housing, while keeping county ownership. At the same time, the state is actively seeking a new Barren County site for a regional driver’s license office, expected to serve about 250 customers daily.
   

• Glasgow firefighter recovering from burn injuries, working to return to service - WNKY News 40 Television (wnky.com) — A Glasgow firefighter is recovering from serious burn injuries suffered while battling an April house fire and is now determined to return to duty. Treated first at T.J. Regional Health and then at TriStar Skyline’s burn center, he credits his medical team, faith, and fellow firefighters for his steady progress and ongoing rehabilitation.
