Hopkinsville Rotary Auction attracts crowd on opening night (hoptownchronicle.org) ā Hopkinsvilleās Rotary Auction kicked off at the Memorial Building with $126,345 raised on opening night for scholarships and local projects. Residents can still bid, donate, or grab lunch and supper all week while grants are awarded nightly to community groups like the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Christian County Literacy Council.

2. Drunk man cited for indecent exposure at Hopkinsville playground (christiancountynow.com) ā Police cited a man for indecent exposure and public intoxication after he allegedly urinated near children at East 2nd Street Park in Hopkinsville on Monday evening. Officers, already nearby on a burglary call, found the man extremely intoxicated and noted facial injuries before EMS treated and released him. No injuries to children were reported.

Big inning carries Heritage Christian past Falcons (whopam.com) ā Heritage Christian Academy in Hopkinsville rallied from a 7-1 deficit with a 10-run fourth inning to beat Fort Campbell 11-8 in District 8 baseball. Despite managing only two hits, the Warriors capitalized on walks, hit batters, and errors, with Preston Haddockās two-run double and Caden Greshamās strong relief pitching sealing the home win.

Ten CCPS students named 2026 Governor's Scholars (whopam.com) ā Ten Christian County Public Schools students, including several from Hopkinsville High School, have been selected as 2026 Governorās Scholars, with four more named as alternates. Theyāll spend five weeks this summer on Kentucky college campuses in a prestigious, tuition-free academic program designed to keep the stateās brightest students learning and thriving close to home.
