• Lyon County Deputies Respond to Crashes, Arrests in Busy Week of Law Enforcement Activity (marshallcountydaily.com) — Lyon County deputies handled a busy week that included disturbances and a hit-and-run at Kuttawa businesses, plus several traffic stops and crashes around the county. Multiple people were cited or arrested on charges ranging from public intoxication to shoplifting and assault. Investigators are still seeking tips about a semi that struck a parked truck in Kuttawa and left the scene.
   

• Drowning Victim Found at Rock Quarry on Kentucky Lake (marshallcountydaily.com) — Emergency crews based in and around Kuttawa spent two days recovering a drowning victim at the Kentucky Lake Rock Quarry, drawing help from more than a dozen regional agencies. Local fire, EMS, and the coroner’s office assisted, while businesses and residents from Kuttawa offered support. Officials have reopened the Rock Quarry and are asking the community to remember the family and responders.
