University of Kentucky Transportation Services has in prior years opened the top floor of the Cornerstone Garage (formerly South Limestone Garage) for annual fireworks viewing on the Fourth of July.
However, in the interest of promoting the health and safety of the campus community and in support of social distancing guidelines, the garage will not be available this year. While construction on the garage expansion is nearing completion, the site is still extremely active, creating additional obstacles and dangers for fireworks viewing.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but anticipate that we will once again offer this popular viewing option in 2021.
Those who want to see the show, which is being launched from the RJ Corman rail yard again this year, are asked to drive to a location that offers a good vantage point, park their cars, and practice social distancing while enjoying the show.
