UK Student Success And Midterm Prep To Be Addressed During Facebook Live Session

University of Kentucky experts will discuss current campus efforts to support students during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as strategies to prepare for midterms, in a Facebook Live event Thursday, Oct. 1 at noon.

Katherine McCormick is a professor in interdisciplinary early childhood education and holds the James W. and Diane V. Stuckert Service-Learning Professorship in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education and Counselor Education. She has been actively involved in a number of program, department, college and university initiatives at UK, including serving as program chair and chair of the College of Education Faculty Council.
Marianne Young is the acting assistant provost for student and academic support. She has worked at the University of Kentucky since 2009 and joined the team at the Stuckert Career Center after serving as the assistant dean for student services and success for the Gatton College of Business and Economics. Before her time at UK, Marianne worked as a behavior specialist and mental health therapist for adults with cognitive and/or developmental disabilities.
They will answer questions about student success and support in the live Q&A. Members of the community are invited to submit questions in advance to coronavirus@uky.edu.
