The University of Kentucky’s first home football game will be Saturday, Oct. 3, against Ole Miss. While football games this year will have reduced fan capacity and no tailgating as a result of COVID-19, some permit holders will still need to relocate their vehicles to make way for Wildcat fans.

Students and employees who park in the following areas should move their vehicles prior to 7 a.m. on home football game days:

  • Periphery (K) permit holders in the Red and Blue lots; Commonwealth Drive, College Way East and West lots and Wildcat Court lot;
  • Periphery (EK) permit holders in the Orange lot; and
  • Residential, Commuter and Employee (E7, C7 and R7) permit holders who park in the Sports Center Garage (PS #7).

In addition, individuals who park in the Kroger Field Green Lot (E10, C10 and R10) must move their vehicles before 10 p.m. on the Friday before home football games.

Please note that parking along University Drive is prohibited beginning at 12:01 a.m. on game days.

Vehicles may be moved to most relocation areas after 3:30 p.m. on Friday and must be moved back to permitted parking areas before 5 a.m. Monday. The game day vehicle relocation map with a complete list of relocation areas and times can be found here. Please note that areas highlighted in green are approved relocation areas. Areas highlighted in yellow are for football game attendee parking only, while areas in red are restricted.

Failure to relocate your vehicle can result in a citation or vehicle impoundment.

Since tailgating is not permitted for the 2020-21 football season, employees who park on Friday evenings in the Orange lot (EK) should be largely unaffected and will only need to move their vehicles before 7 a.m. on game day. (Previously, some areas in this lot required vehicle relocation the night before to make room for RV parking.)
