Beshear announces over $1.3 million in state grants supporting cleaner communities - WNKY News 40 Television (wnky.com) — Munfordville is set to receive a $24,424 state grant to add eight benches and sixteen picnic tables at Green River Park and Arboretum, improving local outdoor gathering spaces. The funding is part of over $1.3 million in statewide waste-tire recycling grants supporting cleaner, more durable park amenities across Kentucky.
   

• Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Hart County (wvlc.com) — A Munfordville man was involved in a serious Monday morning crash on South Dixie Highway that fatally injured an 81-year-old Horse Cave woman riding in a horse-drawn carriage. Kentucky State Police say the collision happened around 8:24 a.m., with another victim airlifted to Louisville for treatment. The investigation is ongoing and being led by KSP detectives.
