• Henry courthouse lawn to get Revolutionary War Memorial (madisoncourier.com) — A new Revolutionary War Memorial honoring 90 Henry County patriots is planned for the courthouse lawn in New Castle, and the City of Smithfield has pledged $500 toward its cost. Local businesses, the historical society, and residents are also contributing, with any extra funds going to landscaping and adding more names. Donations are being accepted now by the Henry County Historical Society.
