Hurricane Harvey Louisiana: Tornado Warning For Jefferson Davis, Acadia
The dangerous storm will be near Rayne around 5:45 p.m. (Central) time and Crowley around 6:00 p.m. (Central) time.

RAYNE, LA — The National Weather Service in Lake Charles issued a tornado warning for parts of southwestern Louisiana as remnants of Hurricane Harvey continue to wreak havoc in the region.
Parishes under the warning include east central Jefferson Davis and west central Acadia. The warning will last until 6:15 p.m. (Central) time.
Officials said at 5:38 p.m. (Central) time, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was spotted near Indian Bayou, or near Rayne, moving northwest at 20 mph.

"A public report of a possible tornado was received with this storm," officials said.

"Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely," the agency said.
Hathaway could also be impacted by the storm.
Those in the area are urged to take cover by moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
"Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris," officials said.
