Baton Rouge Arts Council Accepting Nominations For Public Art Committee

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is accepting nominations for the Art in Public Places Committee (APPAC). This board reviews and recommends potential public artworks, including their locations.

Candidates for the board must be East Baton Rouge Parish residents who are registered to vote in EBR. Seven positions are available in the following areas of expertise:

  1. Design professional
  2. Urban planner
  3. Fine artist
  4. Business community
  5. Professional in the arts
  6. Rotating representative from neighborhood where art is to be sited*
  7. Member of the Arts Council Board

Nominations will be accepted through Oct. 12, 2020. Submit the following info in writing for each nominee:
