Born and raised in New Orleans, Sharon writes about the deep south, the human need to create, and about the complicated relationships that people tend to form. Her debut novel released in 2024, The Meeting of Air and Water, is a set of three intertwined love stories set in south Louisiana that spans generations. The public is invited. The Writers Guild of Acadiana wants to promote writers, poets, and authors by sharing and networking.&nbsp;

<ul><li>Students testing with standard timing should plan for 2.5-3 hours of testing time</li><li>Students using an extended time accommodation can select the appropriate section length before beginning the test.&nbsp;</li><li>Results are available immediately upon completing the test and include a detailed item-analysis feedback report.&nbsp;</li></ul>

 Here is how it works:
<ul><li>Testing instructions will be sent to the parent email prior to test time</li><li>Students will log in to our digital testing portal for this test.</li><li>Students should plan for about 2.5 hours of testing time -or- select the appropriate "extended time" option.</li><li>A calculator is allowed but the DESMOS calculator is also integrated into the testing site.</li><li>Scratch paper is allowed</li><li>Detailed scoring and gap-analysis reporting will be available in real time</li><li>A review of the results by a TPAPT certified test expert is available</li></ul>

Every year, this highly anticipated event supports Knock Knock Children’s Museum’s programs, initiatives, and facility enhancements, and&nbsp;we are grateful for your continuous support!&nbsp;
Storybook Soirée is our most critical fundraiser of the year, raising essential funds for the museum. Each year, Knock Knock must raise 50% of its operating budget through donations and events like Storybook Soirée. Your support funds this gap and provides opportunities for all children and families to learn through play!
