“Our community’s response to this campaign is truly inspiring,” said Mayor Broome. “I want to personally thank everyone who helped spread the word, encouraged a local restaurant to participate or purchased a gift card. You are proof anyone can make a difference. Our collective efforts are making a positive impact on our local restaurants and our economy. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to show our support.”

Businesses and community members are encouraged to purchase gift cards to help sustain the local restaurant industry. To-date, more than 25 restaurants have signed up to participate and several local businesses, including H&E Equipment Services, Mockler Beverage, Rouses Markets, ExxonMobil, Republic Services and Neighbors FCU have pledged significant donations to support the local restaurant community.
