Baton Rouge Mayor-President Extends Closure Of City-Parish Buildings

BATON ROUGE, La. – March 27, 2020 – Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome announced Friday the extended closure of all City-Parish buildings — including City Hall and all community centers — to the public with access restricted to essential City-Parish personnel through Monday, April 13, 2020, in accordance with Governor John Bel Edwards’ Stay at Home order.

Restricted access to City-Parish buildings will be re-evaluated as more updates become available from the Governor’s Office.
