• LPSS letter to parents of Comeaux-bound students gives option to enroll elsewhere (klfy.com) — Families in the Carencro area with 8th-graders zoned for Comeaux High now have the option to request enrollment at Carencro High or several other Lafayette Parish high schools under a new hardship waiver. The move comes as the school board reconsiders Comeaux’s long-term future, and parents must apply for 2026–27 placements, providing their own transportation if they switch schools.
