• Kinder man arrested after juvenile shot in neck during armed robbery in Allen Parish (kplctv.com) — A 22-year-old Kinder resident has been arrested on attempted second-degree murder and armed robbery charges after a teenager was shot in the neck and left on a rural Allen Parish road. Investigators say the wounded juvenile and another teen walked to the nearby Coushatta Reservation for help, and the suspect from Kinder is now jailed awaiting a bond hearing as the investigation continues.
