• Second arrest made after human remains dug up in Marrero backyard: JPSO (wwltv.com) — Authorities have made a second arrest after skeletal remains were found in a backyard on Gaudet Drive in Marrero, in a case tied to missing man Eddie Tillman Jr. Jefferson Parish deputies say John Lopez now faces murder and related charges alongside earlier arrestee Dustin Billiot, and they’re asking anyone with information from as far back as 2023 to come forward.
