Residents Should Stay Off Road Due to Hurricane Ida Damage

JEFFERSON, LA – Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng has called for a mandatory curfew for all of Jefferson Parish, which will be in effect from 6 a.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 until at least 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

All residents are advised to stay off the roads as there are many hazards. President Lee Sheng will advise if the curfew has to be extended once damages have been assessed and rescue operations have been completed.
