- ACLU of Louisiana has cleared its first hurdle against the Lafayette Police Department in a case of a violent 2018 arrest. The case survived the LPD's initial efforts to dismiss the case, which means the case can move towards prosecuting the officers involved in the incident. (Daily Advertiser)
- Two men have been found dead in Boutte ditches in 4 days; and at least one was a victim of foul play, according to authorities. There isn't any believed connection between the cases at this time. (NOLA.com)
- A 3rd suspect has been arrested in the slaying of a man who was shot while riding a motorcycle near Westwego. (NOLA.com)
- An unknown man who was found fatally shot on Monday in New Orleans East has been identified by the coroner. There are no other updates in the death of 20-year-old Raven Hunter, other than an official homicide ruling. (FOX 8 Live WVUE)
