Here are the top stories today in New Orleans:

  1. Five people were shot on Bourbon Street early Sunday morning after a weekend of celebrating the Bayou Classic football game. An unknown suspect began firing into a crowd at 1:50 a.m. and left five victims, two women and three men, injured with gunshot wounds. None of the victim's conditions are reported to be life threatening and all were taken to the hospital for treatment. (FOX8LIVE)
  2. A confirmed tornado passed through St. Charles and Jefferson Parish on Saturday, leaving 10,450 customers without power and Highway 90 West temporarily closed. The tornado touched down at 2:15 p.m. and was classified as a EF1. (FOX8LIVE)
  3. French President Emmanuel Macron will be traveling to New Orleans on Dec. 2 as a part of his state visit to the U.S. and will be the first French President since 1976 to visit the Crescent City. Macron is expected to announce a fund for teaching the French language in the U.S. and speak to Gov. John Bel Edwards on climate change issues. (WBRZ)
