First, today's weather:
A t-storm around in the p.m.. High: 88 Low: 75.
Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today:
- The body of the missing man whose boat capsized in Lake Ponchetrain on Memorial Day has been found and identified as 33-year-old Kevin Childs, who was not wearing a life vest when the accident occurred. (WDSU New Orleans)
- A shooting early Tuesday morning in Gentilly left one victim seriously injured. NOPD is investigating after a woman suffered from a gunshot on Franklin Ave around 1 a.m. (WDSU New Orleans)
- Two CrimeStoppers information reward incentives, culminating in a $25,000 reward, expire in late June. Crimestoppers is looking for information on unsolved murder cases. The 2020 murder of Messiah Thompson expires June 15 and the 2019 murder of Kendrick Cockerham expires June 30. (WGNO New Orleans)
