Here are the top five stories today in New Orleans:

  1. As NOLA's COVID positivity rate nears 32%, the city has reinstated its indoor mask mandate beginning today. (WDSU New Orleans)
  2. Local driving schools have begun implementing tactics to prevent road rage, as 32 people have been shot on New Orleans interstates in the past year. (WDSU New Orleans)
  3. Monday saw 5 reported carjackings across New Orleans, which have become increasingly violent. (FOX 8 Live WVUE)
  4. The Blood Center, which is the main supplier of blood for Southeast Louisiana and parts of Mississippi, has less than one day's supply of blood left. The center is in urgent need of donations. (WDSU New Orleans)
