Here are the top stories today in New Orleans:

1. On Halloween night, thieves stole a total of $10,000 in roofing shingles from NOLA Habitat for Humanity, enough to cover four homes. This comes just after another theft took place a few weeks ago where a storage pod for Habitat for Humanity was broken into and $4,500 in equipment was stolen. The organization is asking for donations to help mitigate their losses.(WGNO New Orleans)
2. The Texas school teacher who was reported missing in September and was last seen walking in New Orleans a few days later has been found alive and well. 48-year-old Michelle Reynolds was living among New Orleans' homeless population since she was last seen until she was recognized and reported to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office in Texas. 3. In the armed robbery last week where a group of McDonalds employees were forced into a freezer while a thief robbed the store, a New Orleans teen called 911 while inside the freezer and her mother, a 911 operator, answered on the other line. Thankfully, with the unlikely odds of getting her mother on the phone, the mom was able to keep her daughter calm and everyone ended up safely. (WDSU New Orleans)
