“As the Mayor of a coastal city on the frontlines of climate change, a member of C40's Global Mayors COVID-19 Recovery Task Force, and a member of the Climate Mayors Steering Committee, I applaud President Biden's commitment to acting on the climate crisis. The Executive Order signed Wednesday demonstrates strong commitment to accelerating an ambitious climate agenda that will reduce emissions, create jobs, and build a more resilient economy. I am excited to continue to work alongside leaders at all levels to address the effects of climate change."
