NOPD officers originally responded to a call that someone had been struck by a train around 12:05 a.m., but once they arrived and investigated, it was discovered that the man had been shot and reclassified the incident as a homicide. - A man was shot in the arm by a NOPD officer after refusing to leave the space in front of a Superdome ticket booth and threatening officers and security with a knife.
