Here are the top stories today in New Orleans:
- A teen boy was found fatally shot out a Mid-City Baskin Robbins on Friday night. The shooting of the 17-year-old transpired around 9:30 pm and police and family were on the scene were occupying the scene shortly after. EMS pronounced the boy dead at the scene. (FOX 8 Local First)
- In the face of NOPD staffing shortages, Krewe of Boo is committed to providing a safe and fun parade this year and has hired a private security team for their Halloween parade. This parade will roll with its 14 floats, 500 riders and 35 marching groups in safety and style. (WGNO New Orleans)
- A 12-year-old boy has been reported missing to police as a runaway and they are asking for the public's help in locating him. Donald Isom Jr. was last seen on October 6th around 6:30 pm in a white shirt and grey shorts. You can see a picture of his face here: (WDSU New Orleans)
