🌱 Algiers Girl Shot, Killed + 30 Arrested In NOLA Sex Crimes Ring

Here are the top three stories in New Orleans today:

  1. The Algiers community is heartbroken after the tragic death of a seven-year-old girl. She was shot while riding in the passenger seat of the car with her mother on Sunday night. The NOPD is working hard on its investigation and encourages anyone with information to come forward. (WAFB)
  2. The U.S. Marshalls Service in cooperation with multiple NOLA law enforcement agencies has found 5 missing and endangered teens and was able to arrest 30 people in a New Orleans area sex crimes operation. (WWLTV.com)
  3. The City of New Orleans has successfully completed projects that help 150 homes in Gentilly to capture and slowly release rainwater into the soil to prevent standing water and drainage system overflow. (bizneworleans.com)

  • The French Quarter Business Association announced the Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year's Eve Parade will roll on Friday, December 31st at 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street. (Facebook)
