• Opelousas shooting: Two suspects arrested (klfy.com) — Two men have been arrested after a May 26 shooting on West Bellevue Street in Opelousas that left one man dead and another seriously injured, according to local police. Authorities say both suspects face first-degree murder and related weapons charges, and investigators currently see no evidence the attack was part of an organized effort targeting the city itself.
