Authorities emphasize their strong stance against child abuse and praise the partnership between Shreveport Police, Caddo schools, and Child Protective Services in protecting vulnerable children.

Through the new PURE program, undergraduates work one-on-one with faculty on funded research projects, gaining hands-on experience that could shape local environmental management, medical understanding, and future careers.
