Shreveport designer headlines Paris Fashion Week 2026 (ksla.com) — A Shreveport-born designer, Tiffany Walker of Pink Lucy, is set to headline Paris Fashion Week 2026, bringing roots from local stages to one of fashion's biggest runways. 5. $30M orphan well cleanup program begins in north Louisiana (neworleanscitybusiness.com) — A major orphan oil and gas well cleanup is launching in north Louisiana, with one of the two main project districts centered on the Shreveport area. Backed by at least $30 million in federal funding, the program will target thousands of abandoned wells over three to five years, potentially creating subcontracting work for Shreveport-area oilfield service companies while tightening oversight to prevent future orphan wells.
