• Louisiana's LHSAA softball bi-district playoffs yield few surprises as higher seeds dominate (sportingnews.com) — Vidalia High’s softball team pulled off a huge upset, with the #20-seeded Vikings routing #13 Caldwell Parish 16–2 in the LHSAA Division III bi-district round. Their win was one of only a few lower-seed advances statewide as Louisiana’s softball playoffs move toward regional and quarterfinal deadlines later this week.
