• Louisiana awarded $4.5 million in Brownfields Grants to advance community revitalization efforts across the state (press-herald.com) — Vidalia is set to benefit from a share of $1.5 million in new federal Brownfields funding aimed at cleaning up and reusing contaminated or underused sites in several Delta towns. The grant, awarded to the Delta Agricultural Research & Sustainability District, is part of $4.5 million coming to Louisiana to support environmental assessments, cleanup planning, and community revitalization projects.
