• Former Anson selectman pleads guilty to unlawful sexual touching (centralmaine.com) — An Anson resident who formerly served for decades as a selectman has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor unlawful sexual touching charge, avoiding jail if he follows probation terms. The incident occurred at his meat market near the North Anson–Embden line, and he resigned from the Anson board soon after the investigation began. Probation conditions include an evaluation and no contact with the victim.
