• The Landing School: End of an era (sailingscuttlebutt.com) — A longtime Arundel institution, The Landing School is shutting down its academic programs for 2026–27 after years of declining enrollment and financial strain, ending nearly five decades of boatbuilding education in town. Current and incoming students will receive deposit refunds, help exploring alternative programs, and guidance on next steps as orientation and future classes are canceled.
