• Androscoggin County to vote on Auburn's proposal for emergency dispatch (sunjournal.com) — Androscoggin County commissioners will vote Wednesday on whether to consolidate all county 911 dispatching into a single regional center at Auburn Hall, potentially reshaping how Auburn’s emergency calls are handled. The proposal, championed by Auburn Mayor Jeff Harmon, would merge the county’s current center with the Lewiston-Auburn 911 system, raising questions about governance, costs, and control for Auburn and surrounding towns.
