186 Maine Runners Finish Boston Marathon

Portland's Christopher Harmon was the first Maine runner to finish the 2017 Boston Marathon with a time of 2:43:57.

BOSTON, MA β€” The 2017 Boston Marathon Monday featured more than 30,000 runners and 186 of those who crossed the finish line are from Maine. Christopher Harmon, 29, of Portland, was the top Maine runner with a time of 2 hours, 43 minutes, 57 seconds β€” good for 293rd overall. Christine Hein, 42, of North Yarmouth, was the fastest Maine woman with a time of 2 hours, 55 minutes, 28 seconds.
