'I never expected it to get like this': Bangor man runs 100 miles, raising over $17,000 for warming center (wagmtv.com) — A Bangor runner logged 100 miles around the Queen City on August 29, raising more than $17,000 for the Well Warming Center and Jericho Road Street Ministry. Inspired by his own past struggles with homelessness and addiction, he now hopes to launch a nonprofit called Purpose Project Incorporated and keep the annual fundraiser growing for Bangor's unhoused neighbors.
