• Belgrade names Fayette accountant as new town manager (centralmaine.com) — Belgrade has hired longtime accountant and Fayette selectboard member Michael Carlson as its new town manager, starting October 19, following a nearly five-month search. He'll earn $99,500 annually on a three-year contract, bringing decades of financial and municipal experience while Town Clerk Mary Vogel continues as interim manager until he starts.
