• 'It's killing fish': Westbrook pet store hearing complaints of unusable tap water in fish tanks (wmtw.com) — Cape Elizabeth residents are among several southern Maine communities reporting that their tap water is harming aquarium fish, with one Westbrook pet store seeing a surge of complaints after routine tank maintenance. The shop's manager warns of high chlorine, low pH, and ammonia spikes, urging people to use conditioners, consider bottled water for tanks, and regularly test their tap water for safety.
