📰 News we're reading
• Caribou school board advances revised budget up $1.5M from previous year (bangordailynews.com) — Caribou residents could see higher property taxes after the RSU 39 school board advanced a roughly $26 million budget that’s $1.5 million higher than last year. If voters approve it in May and June, the plan would add about $31 to the annual tax bill on a $100,000 home, largely due to staff contracts and rising insurance costs.
