• China man arrested for assault after knocking ATV rider unconscious (centralmaine.com) — An ATV rider was knocked unconscious and repeatedly kicked during an alleged assault Saturday on Bog Road in China, prompting the arrest of local resident Brent Elisens on multiple assault and threatening charges. Deputies say Elisens has a history of conflicts with ATV riders and prior assaults on officers, and he is now being held without bail while probation officials pursue a hold.
