ā¢ What to know about Cumberland's proposed comprehensive plan (pressherald.com) ā Cumberland residents will soon weigh in on a new 10-year comprehensive plan at a July 30 public hearing that will shape growth, housing, taxes, and rural character. The 171-page draft, built from surveys and public workshops, proposes more diverse housing, support for remote workers, better bike and pedestrian access, and strategies to preserve natural resources while easing the property tax burden.
