ā¢ July 10, 2026 (quoddytides.com) ā Eastport residents are pushing back against a proposed underwater AI data center just offshore, petitioning for ordinances that could block the project. The issue comes as the city also welcomed over 300 sailors from the USS Lassen during Fourth of July festivities and follows major regional stories about Washington County finances and cross-border bridge safety.
