• Judge grants Eliot Cutler supervised internet access, probation hearing postponed (foxbangor.com) — A Hancock County judge in Ellsworth has allowed limited, supervised weekday internet access for convicted offender Eliot Cutler while postponing a decision on whether to revoke his probation. Cutler remains free on $10,000 bail, must continue treatment, and can only go online under supervision as prosecutors review electronic devices whose passwords he recently provided.

• Honor Flight Maine trip began at birthplace of National Anthem (wabi.tv) — An Ellsworth native and Army veteran joined about 70 Maine veterans on an Honor Flight Maine visit to Fort McHenry, where the national anthem was inspired. Participants helped with a ceremonial flag change and reflected on the site’s powerful history. Organizers say sharing these experiences with fellow veterans deepens understanding, healing, and pride.

• Stalwart 7 in Varsity Maine baseball poll (sunjournal.com) — Ellsworth’s high school baseball team is now ranked eighth in the latest Varsity Maine poll, just ahead of Thornton Academy. The top seven teams stayed the same, with Gorham holding the number one spot after gaining more first-place votes. The rankings reflect games played through June 2 and highlight how consistently strong several Maine programs have been this spring.
