Supporters argue the 146,000-square-foot facility and 170 jobs could ease the town’s tax burden, while state agencies review traffic, environmental, and land use permits still pending this summer. 
• Proposed Amazon site in Gorham was the scene of a 1901 murder (pressherald.com) — A proposed Amazon warehouse on Main Street would sit partly on the historic Mosher farmstead, where a notorious 1901 murder took place in Gorham.
