The schedule also includes dates and times for other Aroostook County high school ceremonies throughout early to mid-June.

Health starts here in Houlton (whoufm.com) — Houlton residents can join the Maliseet Health and Wellness Center’s annual health fair on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 568 Foxcroft Road, featuring free health screenings, over 30 vendors, and prize giveaways. Open to both Native and non-Native community members, the event focuses on practical ways to build healthier lifestyles close to home.

Both the boys’ and girls’ squads from Houlton/GHCA placed well overall, showing that local runners, jumpers, and throwers can compete with the best small schools in the region.

Madawaska police arrest 2 for aggravated assault and discover drug stash (bangordailynews.com) — Aroostook County Jail in Houlton is holding one of two men charged after Madawaska police uncovered an alleged assault and a large stash of meth and drug paraphernalia. The case began with a May 19 assault report and led to hundreds of needles, drugs, and electronic devices being seized, with further charges still possible.
