• Hancock County, Maine Sheriff's Office Investigates Beech Hill Pond Death (z1073.com) — Emergency crews responded Sunday afternoon to Beech Hill Pond off Salisbury Cove Road in Otis, where a 67-year-old Tremont woman was pulled from the water but could not be revived despite bystander CPR and extensive efforts by local responders. Investigators believe she likely suffered a medical event while swimming, and there is currently no sign of foul play as the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office continues its work.
